News - ITP 10 Year Service Award

Richard Leggott, Production Supervisor at Industrial Textiles & Plastics Ltd., was presented with a 10 Year Long Service Award this week. 

Richard joined ITP in May 2000 as a production worker making elastic fasteners used to attach scaffold sheeting and netting to scaffolding. 

Based at Stillington Road on Easingwold’s Business Park, ITP produces over 2½ million of these ties a year and is the largest producer of weather protection systems in the UK.  Ten years on, Richard’s responsibility is to supervise the output of two production lines making building membranes that include roofing felts and vapour control membranes.

“As a mark of our appreciation Richard Leggott receives a Long Service Award cheque for his valued contribution to our business.  He is an example of a dedicated and loyal member of staff in this progressive company where the average length of service is over 7½ years.  In fact within the next year, we have two other colleagues who will also have been with us for a decade” said Richard Menage, Chairman of ITP.
