Powerbase Gas Barriers are cast extrusion-coated polyolefin polymers reinforced with woven high tenacity fabric to provide tough tear resistant gas barrier materials for improved durability and performance. 

Powerbase RB is a reinforced gas barrier membrane independently certified as a protective membrane for radon gas. 

Powerbase MB is a heavy duty reinforced gas barrier membrane incorporating a strong aluminium foil barrier layerfor protecting againat Methane and Carbon Dioxide.  It is independently certified as a protective barrier for methane and carbon dioxide.  Powerbase MB will also act as a Damp Proof Membrane

Powerbase membranes can be supplied in pre-fabricated panels manufactured under factory-controlled conditions to guarantee the integrity of the welded joins.  They are also available in rolls for taping or welding on-site.
