Powerply CARM - 48 hour protection from chemical warfare agents

Tested by the Chemical Hardening Group at Dstl Chemical and Biological Sciences, Porton Down, Powerply CARM materials are impenetrable to liquid chemical warfare (CW) agents for a minimum of 48 hours. 

The material is widely used to fabricate protective covers, heavy duty protective packaging and disposable fall-out covers for protecting stores, equipment and other high value assets in the field.

Powerply CARM is a reinforced barrier membrane incorporating a woven-reinforcement fabric to provide good tensile strength and puncture resistance.  It features a lightweight yet strong construction with good mechanical and performance characteristics.  The specially formulated coatings incorporate UV stabilisers for improved protection against sunlight.  It is fully heat-weldable (hot air and/or hot wedge) to provide gas tight seams and it is supplied in 2.0m wide rolls.
