Chemical Protective Clothing Fabrics

Chemical resistant fabrics for chemical protective clothing, coveralls and gas-tight suits

Powerply is a high performance composite barrier membrane laminated to a supporting non-woven substrate.  It has exceptional resistance to toxic industrial chemicals, chemical and biological warfare agents.  It exhibits good mechanical properties and it is also available in an Anti-Static grade.

Powerply displays good drape characteristics and the material is easy to work with.  It can be stitched, thermo-bonded using conventional hot air and/or hot wedge heat-welding equipment and also welded ultrasonically.

Powerply has been permeation tested to both ASTM and EN methods to the ASTM F1001 Battery of Chemicals.
