Kirby Misperton Christmas Fair 2019
Following the success of last year's inaugural event, Kirby Misperton's Christmas Fair will take place on Sunday 1st December at the Village Hall to raise money for its defibrillator fund, now nearing its £3000 target. Last year, the fair raised a massive £950 towards the defibrillator. This lively event promises something for everyone with craft stalls, homemade produce, children's activities and refreshments including mulled wine. New for this year, members of the history group "The English Companions" will have a stall with information about Anglo Saxon life in the 5th - 11th centuries where children can have fun dressing up, listening to stories and making a Christmas bookmark. “This event will be a terrific way to enter the Christmas period and contribute to a worthwhile local cause," said organiser Peter Winter. Organised by Industrial Textiles & Plastics’ Export Manager, the event was promoted by large printed banners donated by ITP.
