Banners Donated to local Christmas fair in Kirby Misperton
The North Yorkshire village of Kirby Misperton recently held its first ever Christmas Fair. Organised by ITP’s Export Manager Peter Winter, the fair raised money for a defibrillator that will be kept in the village as a potentially life-saving device. ITP donated large printed banners to help promote the event.
Local villager Tom Drayton, who originally came up with the idea, said: “A defibrillator can make the difference between life and death for heart attack victims when every minute counts while awaiting an ambulance.” Twenty artists and craftspeople had stalls offering goods ranging from oil paintings and handbags to home décor items and cruelty-free cosmetics.
The Christmas Fair proved to be very popular, with more than 200 visitors helping to raise a massive £950 for the defibrillator fund.
