Powerclad Filter Sheeting is a flame retardant filter sheeting consisting of a finely woven mesh that acts as an extremely effective barrier against dust and debris. Its tensile strength makes it stronger than any conventional scaffold sheeting on the market. When installed as side sheets, Powerclad FTFR prevents most of the rain from penetrating and, even with wind-driven rain, rain penetration is limited to merely a fine mist. In driving rain, a thin mist will develop on the inside of the sheeting, but protection is provided against direct rain or snow.
With its strength, flame retardancy and good balance between waterproofing and ventilation, it ideal for use in safety critical installations such as shipyards, offshore and petrochemical installations.
Flame retardant to BS 476 Part 12C, Powerclad Filter Sheeting conforms to BS 7955.

Powerclad Filter Sheeting is suitable for all tube & fitting and modular scaffolding systems. Install to BS 8410 Code of practice for lightweight temporary cladding for weather protection and containment on construction works.
We recommend using one bag (100) of Powerclad Powerties elasticated toggle per roll of filter sheeting for correct installation.
Only elasticated Powerties manufactured by ITP with a breaking strength of >500N should be used for attaching Powerclad Filter Sheeting to the scaffold or fence. Plastic cable ties should not be used, as friction caused by their sharp edges can fray the tying loops.

Certification and Compliance
BS 7955:1999 This British Standard is for: Containment nets and sheets for construction works. Specification for performance and test methods. It specifies the minimum tensile strength of the scaffold sheeting, the eyelet strength and the ties.
BS 476 PART 12C Ignitability by direct flame.
