Powerclad Scaffold Sheeting is a reinforced polyolefin sheeting system for temporary containment and weather protection applications. Powerclad reinforcement bands incorporate eyelets every 10cm to provide a versatile system for all tube & fitting and modular scaffolding systems and the ability to vary the support density according to anticipated wind forces.
Both flame retardant and non-flame retardant grades are available. Flame retardant grades are LPCB approved to LPS 1215 and LPS 1207. All grades (except Powerclad Lite) conform to BS 7955.

Powerclad Scaffold Sheeting is suitable for all tube & fitting and modular scaffolding systems. Install to BS 8410 Code of practice for lightweight temporary cladding for weather protection and containment on construction works.
We recommend using one bag (100) of Powerclad Powerties elasticated toggle per roll of scaffold sheeting for correct installation.
Certification and Compliance
BS 7955:1999 This British Standard is for: Containment nets and sheets for construction works. Specification for performance and test methods. It specifies the minimum tensile strength of the scaffold sheeting, the eyelet strength and the ties. For BS7955 compliance, min. tensile strength is 630N/50mm, min. eyelet strength 500N, min. fastener strength 500N.
LPCB The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) has been working with industry and government for more than 100 years to set the standards needed to ensure that fire and security products and services perform effectively. LPCB has confirmed third-party approval for Powerclad FR products as they meet LPS 1207 and 1215 flame retardant standards.
LPS 1207 Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1207: Requirements for the LPCB approval for fire performance of temporary protective covering materials for use in the interior of buildings. This standard describes the fire test methods and performance requirements for ignitability, flammability, smoke emission, toxic gas emission and oxygen index. The performance requirements are intended to ensure that protective coverings for floors, walls, furnishings or other fixtures and fittings, in sheet or preformed form, used internally during construction or refurbishment of buildings do not significantly add to the fire risk. In case of printed sheeting, ink can effect the flame retardancy of the materials and separate flame retardant tests are required to obtain LPCB accreditation.
LPS 1215 Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1215: Requirements for the LPCB approval and listing for Fire Performance of Containment Nets and Sheet Materials for External Use on Construction Sites. This standard describes methods of tests and performance requirements with regard to flammability. The requirements set are those which should ensure that scaffold cladding materials such as sheeting and netting used externally during construction, refurbishment or demolition of buildings should not add to the fire risk. In case of printed sheeting and similar to LPS 1207, ink can effect the flame retardancy of the materials and separate flame retardant tests are required to obtain LPCB accreditation.
